Material Planner Overview

A screenshot of the page Material Planner Overview

On this page you can get an overview of the estimated availability of your items. You can also see all the factors that make up the estimated availability such as how much of an item is being sold, purchased or produced.

You can use a date filter to see how the availability of an item will be affected in the future and focus on a particular location or locations by adding a location filter.

You can decide whether you want to include your safety stock and forecast entries in the calculations in the case of the latter you can add a separate date filter that only applies to forecast entries.

From this page you can then replenish the inventory for an item by either creating a purchase or a production order using information gathered by Material Planner as a suggestion for how much of the item you should replenish.

You can also export your data to Excel by clicking on the Share the page with other users and apps icon in the top left corner of the list.

Following is a description of the actions and fields displayed on the page.
